Quanah Bar consistently sires foals with gorgeous heads , inquisitive personalities and extreme athletic ability. Most of them are started and ridden by their amateur owners, in everything from Parades, Trail riding, to Little Britches Rodeo, plus going to to local shows with speed events and pleasure classes. A lot of our business
has been return customers that are happy with what he produced for them.
Quanah Bar has a “floating” gait and when asked, incredible speed. Although we have never put him on cattle,
he was pastured with some this past year and he would challenge the bull, and “play” with the calves.
He now is separated from them, but will walk way from his grain and hang his head over the fence and watch for them when he hears them balling in the distance.
In 1997 at the Colorado Horse Expo he was critiqued by a Colorado State University Equine Professor in a conformation class and was the only one out of 8 horses with NO conformation faults
